Jane Eyre gave me some reminiscent vibes of Harry Potter in a way kind of, an orphan shipped off to an aunt/uncle, and having to go to new places and explore new things. I also was thinking of Cinderella as I was reading because of the mean Aunt type, but it seems to be more in depth and a deeper story than Cinderella was. I think that all of these stories taking place in Britain also makes a connection between them.
