Learner Development
The teacher understands how students learn and develop, recognizing that patterns of learning and development vary individually within and across the cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical areas, and designs and implements developmentally appropriate and challenging learning experiences.

This artifact is a lesson plan that was created with the thought of students that implements accommodations for any students that would need them without making it overly obvious that it is happening. The purpose of this assignment was to show what a teacher can do during their lesson to help students with disabilities learn better while in the classroom. Some students in the classroom will need additonal attention, motivators, and accommodations to allow them to benefit to the highest ability in the classroom.

This first edition is far from perfect but this was my first time creating a lesson with this amount of diverse accommodations within it and its something that I hope to continue to improve in and implement in the future. This first lesson plan with accommodations will help me in the future as a teacher because now I know some things that I can implement in lessons and I can only learn more from here and improve on everything that I will make. As a future teacher I will without a doubt have to use some of these strategies within the classroom to help students do the best that they can while in my classroom, so this is just a step towards that future.
