Learning Differences
The teacher uses understanding of individual differences and diverse cultures and communities to ensure inclusive learning environments that allow each learner to reach his or her full potential.

For this Standard I decided to use a discussion post that was aimed at having a safe learning environment and being trauma responsive. The focus for this week of class was on safe learning environments for our students, how to make our classrooms more student-centered and being more trauma responsive. If we can create a place that students want to come to everyday, feel safe in and encouraged to chase their wildest dreams then we will have a place that fosters learning.

This discussion aligns well with standard 2 since it centers around setting up an environment in which we can help our students succeed to the best of their ability. This discussion post is only the start of a long journey that will show me the best ways that I can create a place that all my students will want to be in and want to learn from each day. I have the basic ideas that I can first use but everything comes with true experiences that will come in the soon future and will keep me constantly learning the best ways that I can help my students.
